During the production of rotors for automotive electric motors, various impurities accumulate, which can fall off during the operation of the motor and due to abrasiveness can damage the rotor surfaces and increase the viscosity of the lubricating oil. Due to damage and deterioration of the lubrication, the efficiency of the entire motor is reduced. This can be avoided by cleaning the rotor at the end of the automated production process in a specially designed cleaning machine, the design of which is presented in this master’s thesis. Design encompasses development of mechanical design, electrical wiring and basic cycle of machine’s control program.
