Abstract
Informacijsko-komunikacijska tehnologija je danes prisotna praktično povsod. Učenci so v osnovni šoli že vešči osnovne uporabe računalnikov, tablic in pametnih mobilnih telefonov. V drugem delu so predstavljene izvedbe merilnega sistema podprtega s programirljivim razvojnim okoljem Arduino, kjer je na preprost način razloženo delovanje posameznih senzorjev, njihova povezava s krmilnikom Arduino, programska koda (skica) in primeri izbranih eksperimentov od izvedbe meritev preko zajema do analize in obdelave podatkov.

Title:Use of Arduino platform in school science laboratory
Abstract:
Information and communication technology is nowadays present in almost all aspects of our everyday lives. In primary school, pupils are already familiar with the basic use of computers, tablets and smartphones. Their motivation to learn increases dramatically if their work involves the use of information and communication technology. In the first part of my master's thesis I will briefly present the timeline of computer emergence in primary schools and its impact on teaching. Next, I will analyse the science class curricula (chemistry, biology, physics) and make a selection of experiments which are suitable to conduct with the support of information and communication technology. I will also present Vernier, the most widely used commercial system for computer- aided measurements and its open source alternatives. In the second part of my master's thesis, I will present the implementation of the computer-aided measurement system supported by Aruino development environment. I will also offer an explanation of how to make and connect sensors to Arduino board, how to program the code for Arduino and present examples of selected experiments from capturing the measurements to the analysis and the presentation of the data.
