Slovenian, Czech and Croatian language are one of the languages that are part of the Slavic languages group. Although these languages are very similar to each other, there are differences in phonetics as well as in forms and syntax. In this thesis I will focus mainly on systemic peculiarities of verbs in three Slavic languages: Slovenian, Czech and Croatian. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the chapters contain the theory of aspect and the future tense. In the practical part, I present a contrastive analysis of the five verbs in Slovenian, Czech and Croatian language and compare their usage, forms and meaning in the future tense.
