The main purpose of the diploma thesis was to determine whether there is a correlation between the measuring tasks of the sports education card and the football tests performed. In football tests, we selected running at 5 meters, running at 20 meters, VSS (ball control with change of direction), TSS (running with change of direction) and PNVS (polygon back, climb, lower).
The sample consisted of 10 boys - U-7 football players at the Celje Football Club. Statistically significant correlations between football football measuring tasks and sports card were between the 20-meter sprint and long jump (negative and moderate correlation), fast running with change of direction and inclination (positive and high correlation), and between the back and sprint polygon at 60 meters (negative and moderate correlation).
The results during the football metrics task indicated that there was a statistically significant correlation only between fast running with a change of direction and a backward polygon, a rise and fall that was positive and high. In conclusion, the results are only informative. Due to circumstances, our sample is too small to draw any conclusions about statistically significant associations between the results. More concrete conclusions would require a larger sample; it would also make sense to use other statistical methods (eg regression analysis).
