Sistem za izposojo športnih rekvizitov

V štirih poletnih sezonah dela v izposojevalnici športnih rekvizitov ob Velenjskem jezeru smo si zamislili sistem, ki bi nam povečal učinkovitost dela in zagotovil boljšo preglednost nad izposojenimi rekviziti, saj se je v dneh s povečanim obiskom pojavljala težava, da nismo uspeli beležiti vseh časov izposoj. Zaradi tega nismo vedeli, ali so stranke vrnile opremo pravočasno. Z diplomskim delom smo to težavo odpravili in sistem realizirali. Namesto namizne ali strogo namenske mobilne aplikacije smo izbrali spletno aplikacijo, saj ne želimo biti odvisni od vrste uporabljenih naprav in s tem pokrijemo tudi večji delež potencialnega trga. Odločili smo se, da bomo aplikacijo razvili v Laravelu, enem izmed trenutno najbolj priljubljenih ogrodij za razvijanje spletnih aplikacij, zgrajenem v jeziku PHP. Ob razvoju smo aplikacijo tes\-tirali na delovnem mestu in se odločili dodati tudi branje kod QR, kar je poenostavilo postopek izposoje in vračila rekvizitov. Aplikacija se je izkazala za uporabno, saj je izboljšala učinkovitost dela in preglednost nad izposojenimi rekviziti.

Abstract

In the four summer seasons of working at the sports equipment rental facility at Lake Velenje, we envisioned a system that would increase our work efficiency and provide better oversight over rented equipment, since the problem of not having managed to record all the rental times during the days with increased visits. Because of this, we did not know if the customers returned the equipment on time. With this diploma thesis we eliminated the problem and realized the system. Instead of a desktop or strictly dedicated mobile application, we chose a web application as we do not want to depend on the type of devices used and thus cover a larger share of the potential market. We decided to develop the application in Laravel, one of the currently most popular web application development frameworks built in PHP. At the time of development we tested the application at work and decided to also add QR code reading, which simplified the process of renting and returning the equipment. The application proved to be useful as it improved work efficiency and oversight over rented equipment.
