Abstract

Title:Influence of different types of matting agents on the physical properties of two-component polyurethane coatings for wood
Abstract:
Matting agents are important additive in coatings. Apart from aesthetic impact, they also have a key impact on chemo physical properties. The goal of bachelor's degree is finding a new matting agent or a mixture of matting agents that will satisfy the primary goal – the gloss of the coated wooden element is to be reduced to 12 – 14%, and at the same time, improve other chemo physical properties of the coating itself, like hardness.

Keywords:matting agents, two component polyurethane, gloss, hardness
