Strokovno delo Ane Schiffrer v Kranjskem deželnem muzeju

Naloga prinaša pregled in ovrednotenje strokovnega dela umetnostne zgodovinarke dr. Ane Schiffrer v Deželnem muzeju za Kranjsko, v katerem je delovala med letoma 1912 in 1915. Njeno delo se je osredotočalo predvsem na področji arheologije in umetnostne zgodovine. V času njenega delovanja so leta 1914 v muzeju odprli prvo javno zgodovinsko razstavo slik, ki sta jo pripravila skupaj s takratnim ravnateljem deželnega muzeja dr. Josipom Mantuanijem. Skozi pregled gradiva, ki ga hranijo v Arhivu Narodnega muzeja Slovenije, Arhivu Republike Slovenije (zasebna zapuščina Ane Schiffrer) in v glasbeni zbirki Narodne in univerzitetne knjižnice (zasebna zapuščina Josipa Mantuanija), naloga skuša osvetliti medsebojne odnose in potek pridobivanja podatkov za razstavo in katalog slik, pa tudi druga področja delovanja leta 1915 umrle sodelavke deželnega muzeja.

• Title: The Professional Work of Ana Schiffrer in the Carniolan Provincial Museum

Abstract

This thesis aims to review and evaluate the professional work of art historian dr. Ana Schiffrer at the Carniolan Provincial Museum, where she worked from 1912 to 1915. Her work has mainly spanned over the fields of archaeology and art history. During her employment in 1914, the museum opened the first public historical exhibition of paintings, which she prepared together with the then director of the Provincial Museum, dr. Josip Mantuani. Through an examination of the material stored in the Archives of the National Museum of Slovenia, the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia (the private legacy of Anna Schiffrer) and in the music collection of the National and University Library (the private legacy of Josip Mantuani), the work attempts to shed light on the relationships and the flow of data acquisition for the exhibition and catalogue of paintings, as well as other fields of activity in which the collaborator, who passed away in 1915, worked in at the Provincial Museum of Carniola.
