In this thesis I've designed a backpack for hikers who undertake long tours with an emphasis on the easiest way to pack the equipment while preparing for the route. The equipment is arranged according to the weight and quickly accessible while walking.
During the research-analytical phase I became more familiar with the materials from which the hiking backpacks and its components are made. With the analysis of the user journey, I identified the flaws of current backpacks, with the analysis of the hiking equipment and its correct organization in the backpack I made innovative solutions which would improve the user experience of hikers. The final solution is a backpack composed out of three parts; the basic part, backpack coat and the hip belt.
