This BA thesis is dealing with problems occurring in setting up,
wrapping and storing guitar cables in context of use of
performing music groups. It deals mostly with unclaimed
music groups, due to the fact that these groups transfer, set
up and remove their own music equipment on and off stage
by themselves. The goal of this thesis is to analyze (the parts
of guitar cables, how we treat and use guitar cables, analyze
the user, user experience, existing products for wrapping and
storing cables) and then design a product that functions in the
context of performance and in everyday use of music groups
and provides effective wrapping, safe storing, optimizes
transport and enables a fast use of the guitar cable. The result
is a product that resolves the written and detected problems
and provides a product that the user can use at home, at the
rehearsals, in the studio and at a public performance.
