ANALIZA MOTIVACIJSKIH DEJAVNIKOV IN OVIR ZA UDELEŽBO ŠTUDIJSKE IZMENJAVE

Abstract
Študij v tujini je edinstvena priložnost, ki študentu razširi obzorje, ponudi možnost za osebni razvoj in drugačen pogled na svet. Ravno zato preseneča dejstvo, da udeležba študijske izmenjave na Fakulteti za upravo ni večja. Do sedaj še ni bilo narejene raziskave, zakaj se na Fakulteti za upravo kljub dobri promociji študijskih izmenjav, raznoliki izbiri in podpori s strani fakultete študentje zanjo ne odločijo. Iz tega razloga smo v diplomskem delu analizirali dejavnike, ki so študente Fakultete za upravo najbolj motivirali za udeležitev študijske izmenjave. Prav tako smo preučili, kaj je študente pri udeležbi najbolj oviralo oziroma kaj so bili razlogi, da se študijske izmenjave niso udeležili. V diplomskem delu smo zbrali in preučili literaturo o motivaciji, študijski mobilnosti ter povezali motivacijske teorije s študijsko izmenjavo. Na podlagi dosedanjih raziskav glede motivacije in ovir pri odhodu na študij v tujino smo nato naredili anketni vprašalnik. Poleg demografskih podatkov smo spraševali po največji podpori pri udeležitvi študijske izmenjave, kaj je bil glavni razlog za udeležitev le-te in za oceno vseh ponujenih motivacijskih razlogov. Obe skupini anketirancev smo nato povprašali še za glavno oviro pri udeležbi oziroma glavni razlog za neudeležbo in ocenitev vseh ponujenih ovir/razlogov. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 57 študentov Fakultete za upravo. S statistično analizo smo ugotovili, da je glavni razlog za udeležbo študijske izmenjave želja po življenjski izkušnji. Udeležence so najbolj motivirale želje po novih izkušnjah, priložnost za osebni razvoj kot tudi spoznavanje novih kultur. Glavno oviro pri udeležencih je predstavljala prenizka štipendija, ki jo pridobijo z odhodom na izmenjavo. Glavni razlog za neudeležbo študijske izmenjave pa predstavljajo družina in osebna razmerja.

Title:ANALYSIS OF MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS AND BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATE IN STUDY EXCHANGE
Abstract:
Studying abroad is a unique opportunity that broadens students' horizons, offers opportunities for personal development and a different worldview. That is why it is surprising that participation in the study exchange is not higher at the Faculty of Administration. So far, no research has been done on why students of the Faculty of Administration, do not choose it despite the good promotion of study exchanges, the diverse selection and support of the faculty. For this reason, the diploma thesis analyzed the factors that most motivated the students of the Faculty of Administration to attend the study exchange. We also examined what were the main barriers for students to attend or what were the reasons for not participating in the study exchange. In the diploma thesis, we collected and examined the literature on motivation, study mobility and linked motivational theories to study exchange. Based on previous researches on the motivations and barriers to going to study abroad, we made a questionnaire. In addition to demographic data, we asked for the greatest support in attending the study exchange, what was the main reason for attending it and for evaluating all the motivational reasons offered. We then asked both groups of respondents the main barrier to participation, or the main reason for not participating and an assessment of all barriers/reasons offered. 57 students from the Faculty of Administration participated in the research. Statistical analysis revealed that the main reason for participating in the study exchange is the desire for life experience. The participants were most motivated by the desire for new experiences, the opportunity for personal development as well as learning about new cultures. The main obstacle for the participants was the low scholarship they receive by going to the exchange. The main reason for not participating in the study exchange is family and personal relationships.
