Abstract
Izvajal sem reakcije med bakrovimi(2+) ioni in 1-(piridin-2-il)tiosečnino. Kot vir bakrovih(2+) ionov sem uporabil soli: CuCl2, Cu(CH3COO)2·H2O, Cu(NO3)2·3H2O in CuSO4·5H2O. Vsako reakcijo sem izvajal dvakrat, s tem da sem enkrat v reakcijsko zmes dodal KSCN, enkrat pa ne. Kot topilo sem uporabil metanol. Izločene produkte sem analiziral z jedrsko magnetno resonanco (NMR), z infrardečo spektroskopijo (IR) in rentgensko strukturno analizo. Iz opravljenih analiz lahko sklepam, da sem sintetiziral novo bakrovo koordinacijsko spojino s formulo [CuL4]Cl, kjer je L 1-(piridin-2-il)tiosečnina. Poleg tega so pri nekaterih reakcijah nastali še LH(SCN), elementarno žveplo v oblikah α-S8 in γ-S8, KNO3 in 2-amino-[1,2,4]tiadiazolo[2,3-α]piridin-4-ijev klorid.

Abstract:
The reactions between copper(2+) ions and 1-(pyridine-2-yl) thiourea were performed. As source of copper(2+) ions the salts of copper were used: CuCl2, Cu(CH3COO)2·H2O, Cu(NO3)2·3H2O in CuSO4·5H2O. Each reaction was performed twice, once with added KSCN and once without. Methanol was used as the solvent. Isolated products were analysed with nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), infrared spectroscopy (IR) and X-ray structural analysis. According to the analysis performed I can conclude that the new copper coordination compound with the formula [CuL4]Cl, where L is 1-(pyridine-2-yl)thiourea was synthesized. Additionally, LH(SCN), elemental sulphur in forms of α-S8 and γ-S8, KNO3 and 2-amino-[1,2,4]thiadiazolo[2,3-α]pyridine-4-ium chloride were obtained as side products in some reactions.
