Abstract
Mikrostrukturni posnetki materiala zagotavljajo bistvene informacije o njegovih lastnostih, tako so le te močno povezane z mehanskimi lastnostmi. Natančnost določitve stopnje nodularnosti sivih litin s kroglastim grafitom je zelo pomembna. Prevladujoča vizualna analiza mikrostruktur pogosto povzroči pristranske rezultate zaradi človeškega faktorja in samih vizualnih omejitev. Tako so vizualno pridobljeni rezultati močno odvisni od vizualne sposobnosti presoje strokovnjaka in v večini ti rezultati niso ponovljivi. Zaradi zgoraj navedenih razlogov se je v industriji in raziskovalni praksi razvilo mišljenje kako bi s pomočjo digitalne obdelave mikrostrukturnih posnetkov in računalniškega vida natančno določili stopnjo nodularnosti sivih litin s kroglastim grafitom. Tako sta digitalna obdelava slik in računalniški vid postala ključnega pomena na področju izdelave materialov in kontrole kakovosti. Namen diplomskega dela je bil preveriti različne matematične modele in algoritme, ki tvorijo različno programsko opremo, ki omogoča določevanje nodularnosti ulitkom iz sive litine s kroglastim grafitom. Preverili smo dve programski opremi in sicer AnalySIS 5.0, ki jo uporabljajo na Naravoslovnotehniški fakulteti ter interni program podjetja Livar d. d., katerega je razvil zaposleni na oddelku kontrole kakovosti. Modela smo testirali v idealnih pogojih pri čemer smo uporabili ročno narisane mikrostrukture in na dejanskih mikrostrukturnih posnetki ter spremljali dobljene rezultate. Na koncu smo iz dobljenih rezultatov kreirali svoj program za izračun nodularnosti s pomočjo programa Excel. Pri raziskovanju pa smo se opirali na strokovno literaturo in članke.

Title:Comparison of mathematical models for determination the nodularity of graphite in spheroidal graphite cast irons
Abstract:
The microstructure images of materials provide information about material properties, such as mechanical properties. The accuracy of determining the nodularity of ductile iron is very important. Dominant visual analysis of microstructures often results in biased results due to the human factor and the visual limitations themselves. Thus, the visually obtained results depend heavily on the visual ability of the expert, and in most cases these results are not repeatable. For the reasons mentioned above, thinking has emerged in industry and in research practice to accurately determine the nodularity of ductile iron using digital image processing and computer vision technologies. Thus, digital image processing and computer vision technologies have become crucial in the field of material production and quality control. The purpose of this diploma work was to check different mathematical models and algorithms that form different software that allows determination of the nodularity of ductile iron. We have tested two different software, first one was AnalySIS 5.0, which is used at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and the internal program of Livar d. d. developed by an employee of the quality control department. The models were tested under ideal conditions using hand-drawn microstructures and actual microstructural images while monitoring the results obtained. In the end, we created our own program for calculating the nodularity using Excel. In our research, we relied on professional literature and articles.
