In my thesis I analysed the influence of modulated light and spatial non-uniformity of illumination on individual light meters.
In the paper, I first briefly present the light, the differences between radiometry and photometry, and the photometric quantities. In the following, I describe the photometer, the illuminance meter and what affects the accuracy of the photometer. I also present the calibration of the illuminance meter and the practical implementation of the calibration on a photometric bench. Then I define and describe the individual factors that affect the illuminance meter. I describe in more detail the procedure for checking the influence of modulated light and spatial non-uniformity of illumination, as well as calculating the indices that characterize the impact. This is followed by the practical implementation of measurements with instruments of different accuracy classes and the analysis of results. Finally, I give my findings and identify which instrument turns out to be the best and which is the worst.
