Abstract
Tema diplomskega dela so frazemi v romanu Hörbe mit dem großen Hut nemškega pisatelja Otfrieda Preußlerja in njihovi ustrezniki v slovenskem prevodu Zvedavček z velikim klobukom. V raziskavi sem poiskala frazeme v nemški otroški literaturi, jih primerjala z njihovimi ustrezniki v prevodnem besedilu in analizirali prevodne postopke frazemov v ciljnem jeziku. Cilj diplomskega dela je ugotoviti v kolikšni meri se je s prevodom spremenil ekspresivni jezik. Analizirala sem 98 frazemov, od katerih jih je 59 s prevodom ohranilo svoj ekspresivni pomen. Ugotovila sem, da se prevodno besedilo bistveno ne razlikuje od originalnega besedila, saj se je na podlagi prevodnih postopkov v veliki meri ohranil ekspresivni jezik.

Title:Phraseological Units in the Novel Hörbe mit dem großen Hut and their Equivalents in Slovene Translation
Abstract:
The subject of this thesis are phraseological units in the novel Hörbe mit dem großen Hut by the German writer Otfried Preußler and their equivalents in Slovene translation Zvedavček z velikim klobukom. In the study, I searched for idioms in the German children's literature, compared them with their counterparts in the translation text, and analyzed the translation procedures of the phrases in the target language. The aim of the thesis is to determine the extent to which expressive language has changed with translation. I analyzed 98 idioms, 59 of which retained their expressive meaning through translation. I have found that the translation text was not significantly different from the original text, as expressive language was largely preserved through translation procedures.
