The purpose of this bachelor’s work is to present the control of lighting and temperature in living spaces of newly-built structures with tourist activities. The building offers three apartment complexes and a larger social area to its guests. The main purpose of smart installments in the building is the control of lighting and temperature in spaces that are out of range in regard to smartphone or tablet control. This, in particular, improves the experience of visiting guests, as their demands can be granted quickly, without disturbing their privacy, while providing the supervisor of the building the possibility of viewing the happenings in said building from whichever location. The regulation of temperature in the rooms is carried out with HDL’s Buspro protocol, whereas the control of lighting is enabled by the DALI interface, which is the most widely spread lighting control system.
My assignment in this project was to actively participate in the realization of connections between Buspro devices and end consumers. At the end, I have performed the program settings for proper functioning of Buspro devices for the entire smart installment in the building.
The bachelor’s work consists of four base chapters: in the first part, the DALI interface is described; the second presents the working of Buspro protocol; the third is dedicated to describing lighting and temperature controls in the building. The work is concluded with a presentation of the devices used and the modules with program settings in the Buspro Setup Tool environment and mobile application HDL On.
