Nucleate boiling is one of the most effective and simultaneously manageable to engineer heat transfer process that is for example used in cooling of nuclear fuel rods, for cooling microelectronics and in separation processes. Boiling also has a high potential for use in space applications, to simulate the conditions in space there different facilities such as parabolic flights, sounding rockets, droptowers and space stations. Experimental setups for parabolic flights must conform to many requirements that they do not need to in a laboratory. We gathered all the requirements applicable to experimental setup for nucleate boiling in parabolic flight. We chose our components based on previously designed similar experiments, our experience in nucleate boiling experimental setups and the parabolic flight requirements and recommendations. The most suitable fluid for our experiment was determined to be FC-72. With the chosen components, we made a 3D model of the experimental setup, which meets all given requirements.
