Oil conservator is an important part of power transformer. It serves to regulate changes in oil volume in transformer housing due to temperature differences. Placement of oil conservator depends on various requirements and restrictions. Supporting bracket ensures proper placement of oil conservator on power transformer.
Based on company database, we determined four types of brackets and defined boundaries for selecting appropriate type. We preformed static analysis for all types of brackets and set analytical models for calculating stress and deformation. Analytical models were confirmed by numerical analysis.
Based on the results we created an expert system for selecting appropriate supporting bracket, which contributes to faster selection of type and size of bracket.
