In my diploma thesis I research money, its history, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and how they appear in art. In the theoretical part, I write about the history of money – since the dawn of time until the point when it evolved into cryptocurrencies. I present artists who use money, cryptocurrencies and blockchain in their artwork. The practical part of my diploma is an object, which represents the fluctuation of two different cryptocurrencies in a certain period of time, presented in three-dimensional space. The data are sourced from graphs, which show the fluctuation of the currencies.
