The diploma thesis presents heat pumps, smart grids and a rather unknown way of utilizing a large amount of smart meter data in our country, that is identifying consumption or as it is called Load disaggregation. Based on foreign literature obstained, a method of Load disaggregation was presented. We performed a recognition of the consumption (»Load disaggregation«) from the smart meter data we obstained from the electricity distribution company. This was done at a lower level than the methods described in the diploma thesis dictate. By comparing the daily consumption of work energy to cold and moderately warm days, we tried to determine whether it is possible to separate consumers in this way from those with and without heat pump. Beacuse we were dealing with a large amount of data, we performed our analysis in Excel programme, more precisely with pivot tables. We have come to the conslusion that in this way we can successfully separates consumers with and without heat pump.
