Abstract
Sledi predstavitev opravljene empirične raziskave, ki razkriva, kako otroci in odrasli razumejo pravljico, glavne like, njeno sporočilnost in kakšna je razlika med njimi.

Title:The reception of the folk tale Mojca Pokrajculja among children and adults
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the tale as a genre of literature and it is based on the two renowned tale researchers Vladimir J. Propp in Max Lüthi. Later on, it primarily focuses on the field of the folk tale, describing its basic characteristics and differences in comparison to the fairy tale. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and it deals with the reception of tales among children and adults, leaning on Metka Kordigel Aberšek’s concepts, which were presented in her work Didaktika mladinske književnosti. These differences are explored in continuation, using the Slovenian folk tale Mojca Pokrajculja as an example. What follows is the presentation of empirical research, which reveals how children and adults understand the tale, its main characters, its message and the difference in their interpretations.
