Abstract
V teoretičnem uvodu je predstavljena tema nasilja in z njo povezani pojmi. Poudarjeni so tudi pomembnejši zakoni s področja nasilja v družni, opaznejši načini dela z žrtvami in s povzročitelji nasilja. V drugem delu teoretičnega dela so predstavljene subjektivne teorije, predsodki, stereotipi, miti in osebne teorije o nasilju.

Title:The influence of subjective theories on violence on professional work at the Center for Social Practice in the Carinthian region
Abstract:
In my thesis, I focused on the impact of subjective theories on violence on the expert work at the Centers for social work in the Carinthian region. The theoretical introduction introduces the subject of violence and related concepts. More important laws in the field of domestic violence and more visible ways of working with victims and the perpetrators of violence are also highlighted. In the second part of the theoretical work, subjective theories, prejudices, stereotypes, myths and personal theories on violence are presented. The empirical part consists of a qualitative analysis of the data obtained from the four interviews conducted among the social workers at the Centres for social work in the Carinthia region, which are active in the field of domestic violence. The results have shown that social workers are aware of the impact of subjective theories, but they cannot completely eliminate it from their work. I establish the importance of education in the area of domestic violence, especially in the area of working with the agents, where the research showed the impact of subjective theories on the social workers to be the strongest. The research also showed that social workers are often guided by their subjective theories in the field of mental health.
