Abstract
Ob tem sem glavni poudarek namenil pomembnosti prilagoditve igralnega okolja, ergonomsko oblikovani igralni opremi, pravilni drži telesa in premorom v času igranja. Z ozaveščenostjo glede načina pristopa k igranju video igric in ob upoštevanju vseh ergonomskih ukrepov, ki sem jih navedel, lahko preprečimo zdravstvene težave in vzdržujemo dobro splošno počutje in kondicijo.

Title:Video games playing ergonomics
Abstract:
In recent years, science and technology have made an immense developmental step in all areas of our lives, from support to our daily, varied work responsibilities, to a new way of communicating and, last but not least, to entertainment. The latter was the starting point for my diploma thesis, as I wanted to find the reasons for the emergence of health problems, injuries and illnesses resulting from the misuse of ergonomics, playing video games, and proposing certain ergonomic measures and guidelines to prevent them. In the introduction, I focused myself to the term of describing what a video game is with a timeline showing the development of video games. Below, I have introduced the origin of word ergonomics and its development as a science branch. In the central part of the thesis I described anatomy of those working human parts, that they are most exposed when playing video games, and causes that can threaten health of player if improper posture is used, when used improperly, did not consciously damage health, since care had to be taken for a certain period of time. To avoid this already pressing issue, I have dedicated myself to taking action that is supposed to have a preventative effect on the health of video game players. The main emphasis is on appropriate adjustments to the gaming experience, ergonomically designed game equipment and proper body posture during play. With all of the above, I could summarize that by being aware of the way we aproach gaming, and by considering ergonomics measures, we can prevent unnecessary health problems and maintain our well-being and condition.
