Abstract
Čeprav so se smetnjaki skozi čas razvili in prilagodili uporabniku, še vedno veljajo za leglo umazanije in bakterij, ki se ob stiku s smetmi prenesejo na človeka. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena vsa teoretična podlaga, ki je potrebna za snovanje interaktivne naprave. Vključena je razlaga o klasifikaciji senzorjev, aktuatorjev in mehanizmov, ki nam pomagajo pri izbiri prave komponente za načrtujoč sistem. Nadalje je predstavljena zgodovina in razvoj mikro – kontrolerja, ki je glavna komponenta miselnega procesa pri interaktivni napravi. Sledi kratka predstavitev snovanja izdelka od zahtev do končne zasnove: prikazano je snovanje predalnika za kuhinjske smeti, ki se odpira brez dotika. Vse komponente, ki so obremenjene, so preračunane in trdnostno kontrolirane. Na koncu so prikazani vsi stroški strojne opreme, rezultati trdnostnih kontrol, analize kritičnih scenarijev ter predlogi za nadaljnje delo.

Title:Touchless garbage opening mechanism
Abstract:
No matter how much did garbage bins evolve, it still remains litter of bacteria and filth, which transfers to human when they make contact. In this thesis is presented theoretical knowledge on how to design your own interactive device. Detailed explanation about classification of sensors, actuators and mechanisms, which helps us choose right component for our future aplication. History and development of microcontrollers which are main components of our control process. It's also mentioned about product design from starting requirements to final product. Step by step description of designing a touchless kitchen drawer bin for trash collecting at home. All components under load are statically controled and checked. At the end are shown all costs of added hardware, results of firmness analysis, failure mode and effects analysis and prepositions for further research.
