Abstract
Ker varjena izvedba vpenjala izpolnjuje togostne zahteve, so bili rezultati analize vijačene izvedbe primerjani z rezultati analize varjene izvedbe. Primerjava obeh izvedb pokaže ustreznost modificirane izvedbe vpenjala z vijačnimi spoji.

Title:Mechanical analysis of clamps for clamping castings
Abstract:
A strength and frequency analysis of the existing clamping device with welded joints and a modified clamping device with screw joints was performed. As the clamping device is a geometrically complex assembly, a simplified geometric model of the assembly was made. The load conditions in the mechanical treatment phase and certain boundary conditions that are taken into account in the numerical model, were analysed. The strength and frequency analysis was performed using the finite element method in ABAQUS. Since the welded version of the clamp meets the stiffness requirements, the results of the analysis of the screwed version were compared with the results of the welded-assay analysis. A comparison of both versions shows the relevance of the modified version of the clamp with screw joints.
