Abstract
S tehniko ročnega tiska so bili narejeni pigmentni tisk, modrotisk in jedki tisk.

Title:Reproduction of hand block for blueprint with modern technologies
Abstract:
In this diploma we covered the area of textile printing and also the area of preservation of traditional hand blocks for printing which can be used in art, restoration of ancient textiles, education, and, last but not least, tourism. The purpose of this diploma thesis is the development of replicas of hand block model for a blueprint with modern technologies, printing fabric with them and then, evaluating the effectiveness of print. The end goal of this thesis was – by examination of Slovenian collection of hand blocks from the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and the selection of hand block for replication – the development of digital replica. The replica was 3D printed and also milled from different types of wood from invasive non-indigenous plants with a CNC machine. We used wood from Robinia, Honey Locust, Horse Chestnut and Tree of Heaven. A model of each kind of wood was protected with linseed oil. We used models produced in the before mentioned manner for hand block printing. By the technique of hand block printing, we made pigment print, discharge print, and blueprint. We evaluated prints obtained by the mentioned techniques with an examination of textile printability and contour sharpness of prints and assessed the appearance of printed fabric. We noted that the type of model did not have an effect on print. It had the pressure with the model onto a fabric, printing paste coating definiteness, and the amount of printing paste onto a model. The original contribution of this diploma thesis is the development of a digital model with the help of CAD systems and manufacturing hand blocks with 3D print and CNC milling.
