Abstract
Rezultati analize so pokazali preferenco do ilustracij z bolj živimi, toplimi in kontrastnimi barvnimi toni.

Title:The impact of color on the perception of communicativeness and content value in digital illustrations
Abstract:
The goal of this diploma thesis was to grapple with the assumption, that colors can influence the message and contents of a digital illustration. Four digital illustrations were created in which specific color palettes were included. In the theoretical part of the thesis, colors were described as a physical phenomenon as well as the phenomenon of subjective experience. The basics of color theory and color harmonies as well as the human vision system were presented. Physical, physiological and psychological influence of colors on the human organism was described, with the emphasis on the emotional and symbolic meaning of individual colors, particularly in western culture. Illustration was classified as a type of artwork defined in the field of creative art. The role of digital media was cemented as a tool for the production and dissemination of digital content, which led to an explanation of the process of displaying images or colors on various output devices aka. screens. A software review was provided for digital illustration, with the drawing program Clip Studio Paint in the forefront. In the experimental part of the paper, the gradual production of four illustrations was documented. The process of choosing basic color palettes and their symbolic and emotional meaning has been described. Then followed the process of sketching, followed by the creation of line art, painting and shading in layers. The work was done in Clip Studio Paint. In the research part of the thesis, a web survey was prepared using Google Forms, in which respondents were asked about their general color preferences and the message and popularity of individual color palettes and illustrations. From the analysis of data collected from 180 respondents, an optimal way of choosing colors and coloring was determined for displaying of certain emotional content. The results of the analysis showed a preference for illustrations with more lively, warmer and contrasting color tones. Such illustrations also had a clearer message. During the research process, points of improvement were identified. Possibilities of further research in the demographic field were also pointed out.
