The master thesis discusses about the problem of pressure losses of hydraulic systems, which results in the heating of hydraulic oil. Oil overheating results in poor performance of the hydraulic system and shorter useful period of the hydraulic components. The work covers the analysis of the machine operation, the hydraulic system and the installed hydraulic comonents, the analytical calculation of pressure losses at three different flows, the implementation of measurements of pressures and flows at workloads, and the analytical calculation of pressure drops at actual flows. The hydraulic system has some critical points where the pressure losses are relatively high. There is not much variation between measured and calculated values. The main difference between the measured and the calculated values of the pressure loss is the flow of liquid through the modular hydraulic block.
