The research highlights the life and work of the theologian and literary historian Jože Rajhman, who in the second half of the 20th century marked the Slovene space with the spiritual education of a large number of priests of the Lavantian diocese. He was an associate professor of the spiritual and pastoral theology at the Theological Faculty with the Department in Maribor. In his research work, he made a very important contribution to the illumination of work and life of the Slovenian reformer Primož Trubar. Due to the extensive work of the author, only a part of the theological opus is shown, and somewhat more literally its literary-historical work, which is inextricably linked to theological research of Slovene Protestantism in the 16th century. Rajhman represents a part of the immediate leadership of the revived Maribor theology of the past 50 years, and his work in the field of Slovene Protestantics places him among the most important ecumenical workers in Slovenia in the late half of the 20th century.
