St. Cyril and Methodius' evangelisation approach in Moravia in the light of contemporary pastoral catechetical planning After many centuries, the Catholic Church in Slovenia has recognized the didactic and catechetical approaches, adopted by saintly brothers Cyril and Methodius in their outstanding missionary work in Moravia 1150 years ago, as useful guidelines and essential elements for the new evangelization in the modern secularized world. In front of the challenges of secularisation and the state of faith in Slovenia, the pastoral plan of the Catholic Church in Slovenia proposes significant changes in pastoral work and a greater focus on Jesus Christ in evangelization. The paper deals with the language and style, adopted by the saintly brothers in their missionary work, their role as teachers and witnesses and, above all, their typical anthropology.
