The paper presents a short biography of one of the most important Nazi officials, Reinhard Heydrich, with an emphasis on the time of his reign in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The reader realizes how a political apparatus developed with which the Nazis ruled Germany and all other occupied territories. In the first part, a brief biography of Heydrich and some of the most important events in his life from the birth until the death is presented for an easier understanding. The second part presents the time of his reign in the Protectorate, where in less than a year he completely crushed the Czech resistance and prepared the Protectorate for integration in the Third Reich. In the end I described in more detail Operation Anthropoid, Heydrich's assassination, and the consequences that awaited the Czech population. Through this work, the reader can learn about Heydrich's life and his reign in the Protectorate.
