The aim of my master's thesis is to explore and examine the educational plan within a school, focusing on its importance and use in practice with a strong emphasis from the perspectives of various esteemed social pedagogues. Throughout the theoretical aspect of this thesis, I am presenting the school's educational plan and the key issues, alongside the dilemmas that arose from the beginning of its implementation. A definition into the importance of the role schools play in raising a child with the four pillars of eduation, the upbringing, reasons for the introductions of the educational plan, the process of its formation and the content itself. Additionally, there will be a strong importance in the field of social pedagogy with an aim to define the educational role of social pedagogues in the elementary schooling system and the fundamental importance of the involvement of team working social pedagogues for the creation of the educational plan for an elementary school. The research part refers to the introduction of an educational plan from the perspectives of six social pedagogues included within this aspect of my thesis. They play a key role in the creation of an educational plan including its advantages and disadvantages. Furtfermore, these social pedagogues are essential in establishing the key areas by which an educational plan needs to focus upon. I will also include their suggestions for further educational work of a school. In order to bring forth my argument, I will use a qualitative research approach that first aims to inquire whether or not social pedagogues are included in the formation of the educational plan alongside the extent to which they are utilized. Through the process of a selected criteria, I acquired 6 interviewees whom are currently employed in elementary schools and proceeded to cunduct semi-structured interviews. These interviews were then coded and analyzed, using a qualitative content analysis. The aim of this research is to explore the perspectives of social pedagogues working on the educational plan and thus realizing some unbeknownst views on the elementary school system's educational plan. In the survey, I came to the conclusion that if the majority of social pedagogues with a certain number of hours employed by their workplace as a school counsellor went on to being involved as part of the development team in the creation of the educational plan. From the perspective of the six social pedagogues that were interviewed, they found that the educational plan was only partially successful due to the rigidness of the written educational plan. The time constraints hindered any chance for the modification of the said educational plan and also didn't allow for any evaluation of individual schools.
