In geodesy, we are monitoring moving and sedimentation with different geodetic measuring methods. In order to ensure the quality deformations monitoring, we have to choose appropriate measurement methods and geodetic instruments. We determine the position of the objects or their parts in the space. We derive from the results of multiple measurements performed at different moments in time.
In the master's thesis we deal with the topic of the geodetic monitoring of the church of St. Benedict in Kančevci. The main goal of the thesis was to determine the size and direction of movements, movements of the whole church or its individual parts and possible other deformations. For the purpose of our mission, we established a local leveling network and a geodetic three-dimensional network around the building. On the basis of two different measurements, the size and direction of displacements and other deformations of the object in the space were determined from the levelling and terrestrial laser scanning data. We compared the differences with different analyzes. The acquired results were evaluated and presented in the tabular and graphic form.
