Abstract
S kompleksiranjem natrijevega alginata s cetilpiridinijevim kloridom v ustreznem molarnem razmerju smo izdelali cetilpiridin-alginatne nanokomplekse, v katere smo vgradili slabo vodotopno učinkovino ibuprofen.

Title:Development of cetylpyridinium-alginate nanocomplexes with a poorly soluble drug
Abstract:
Crosslinking sodium alginate with cetylpyridinium chloride in suitable molar ratios, we obtained cetylpyridinium-alginate nanocomplexes with incorporated poorly soluble drug ibuprofen. For cetylpyridinium chloride we determined critical molar concentration and solubilization capacity for ibuprofen. Based on this results we created nanocomplexes with ibuprofen. Measuring their physical properties (i.e. hydrodynamic parameter, polydisperse index and zeta potential) we characterized nanocomplexes from stability's point of view in different conditions, determined drug release, their morphology and interactions between single components.
