Arhitektura Zdravilišča Rogaška Slatina sredi 19. stoletja

V Zdravilišču Rogaška Slatina je mogoče vse od začetka 19. stoletja zaznati intenziven razvoj. Zanimanje za zdravljenje s termalno vodo, nove družbene in gospodarske okoliščine ter vzpon tiskanih medijev so zagotavljali nenehno rast števila gostov, kar se je odražalo tudi v potrebi po izgradnji novih zdraviliških objektov ter širitvi zdraviliškega kompleksa. Stavbe so pri tem morale biti zasnovane tako, da so v estetskem kot tudi v funkcionalnem smislu zadostile potrebam in normam visokih gostov. Še posebej od konca tridesetih let 19. stoletja je v Zdravilišču opazna pospešena in intenzivna gradnja novih objektov, ki je zapovedala širitev zdraviliškega kompleksa izven starejše urbanistične zasnove ter vzpostavitev nove, reprezentativnejše zdraviliške strukture. Pričujoče magistrsko delo se osredotoča na predstavitev historiata posameznih stavb, ki so izoblikovale vzhodno veduto Zdravilišča ter njihovo postavitev v prostoru, izgled ter funkcijo razlaga tudi v sklopu bogato razgibanega zdraviliškega življenja.

• Title: Architecture of Rogaška Slatina Health Resort in the middle of the 19th century.

Abstract

In the Rogaška Slatina Health Resort, since the beginning of the 19th century, intensive development has been detected. The interest in thermal water treatment, new social and economic circumstances and the rise of printed media have ensured the constant increase in the number of guests, which caused the need to build new spa facilities and expand the health resort complex. The structural design had to met visual and functional needs and norms of high-ranking guests. Especially since the end of the 1830s, the accelerated and intensive construction of new facilities was observed in the health resort, which commanded the expansion of the complex beyond the old urban design and the establishment of a new, more representative spa structure. The present master's thesis focuses on the presentation of the history of individual buildings that have shaped the eastern vedut spa and their layout in the space, furthermore the appearance and function is also interpreted as part of a richly diverse health resort.
