There is an increasing number of foreign children in public kindergartens. A modern linguistic situation leads to the need for multiculturalism and taking into account foreigners when planning and implementing the curriculum. Children of foreigners are faced with many problems, as well are their parents and professional staff who are in a daily contact with them.
Language barriers affect children's quality of life in and outside of the educational institutions, their socialization, self-image, behavior, and lack of motivation for different activities. So it is important to overcome and try to eliminate language barriers. For children the easiest and most natural way of doing it is through the game. Creating a stimulating, comfortable and happy environment is crucial. The main purpose of my research is to determine whether and how professional workers are trained to work with children of foreigners, how they help them with their inclusion in kindergarten, if they can react constructively to the problems and how they can help with learning the mother tongue and the language of the environment.
