Inspectorate for public employees system, employing seven inspectors, is active as the form of internal administrative control within Public sector inspectorate under responsibility of the Ministry of Public Administration. Their working tasks and authorizations are defined in Public employees Act and Inspection Act, at least sensibly, there are also principles of General Administrative Procedure Act valid. Inspectorate for public employees system supervises the work of state authorities and local community authorities, but in accordance with authorization, the field of work also expands outside action area of those authorities. The inspectorate control is not deciding about rights, obligations and legal interests, so it does not represent administrative procedure, but control procedure over certain regulations within public administration in order to make the whole system acting more legally. It includes the system and working relationships of public employees in state authorities and local community administrations and also the system of public sector salaries, which bases on regulations and collective contracts regarding public sector salaries. Public sector inspectorate presents essential information about their actions in annual report. In order to check the hypothesis about effectiveness, I have studied the work of inspectorate from 2016 to 2018 with the help of those annual reports as well as combined method of structured interview with representatives of inspectorate. I have found out that the actions of inspectorate are necessary because of repeated violations of controlled subjects and I am also suggesting several improvements.
