Abstract
Test smo izvedli dvakrat z vmesnim 48-urnim premorom. Ponovljivost in zanesljivost testa smo izračunali s pomočjo intraklasnega korelacijskega koeficienta, standardne napake meritev ter najmanjše zaznane spremembe. Povezanost izvedbe testa z antropometričnimi spremenljivkami smo preverjali s Pearsonovim korelacijskim koeficientom. Ugotovili smo dobro povezanost izvedbe testa s starostjo preiskovancev in zmerno povezanost izvedbe testa z indeksom telesne mase in obsegom pasu preiskovancev.

Title:Repeatability and reliability of the timed "lay down-get up" test in healthy adults and the influence of anthropometric variables on performance of the test : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: Timed “Lay down and get up” test was designed to evaluate functional capacity of healthy adults. Purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine repeatability and reliability of the timed »Lay down and get up« test in healthy adult subjects and to determine correlation between performance of the test with anthropometric variables. Methods: Thirty adults aged between 18 and 65 years (15 woman and 15 men) living in Bohinj municipality comprised the study sample. The test was performed twice with 48-hour break. Repeatability and reliability of the »Lay down and get up« test were calculated using intraclass correlation coefficient, standard error of measurement and the minimum detectable change. The correlation of the performance of the test with anthropometric variables was verified by Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: The average time of three repetitions to perform the test was 4.7 seconds in the first session and 4.9 seconds in the second session. Repeatability was excellent, as the intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.986 (CI95%= 0,975-0,993) in the first session and 0.990 (CI95% = 0,982-0,995) in the second session. Reliability was excellent as well, as the intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.989 (CI95%= 0,977-0,995). Standard error of measurement was 0.45s and minimum detectable change was 1.24s. Good correlation was found between the performance of the test and the age of subjects and moderate correlation was found between the performance of the test and body mass index and the belt circumference of the subjects. Discussion and conclusion: »Lay down – get up« test is a clinical test with excellent repeatability and reliability. Therefore we recommend the test to evaluate functional capacity of healthy adults. The most appropriate calculation of the outcome is taking the average time of three repetitions into account. Validity still needs to be researched.
