Marija Magdalena v Svetem pismu in slovenskem leposlovju

V sledeči magistrski nalogi sem preučevala lik Marije Magdalene v slovenskem leposlovju. Cilj naloge je bil ugotoviti vpliv interpretov Svetega pisma na podobo Marije Magdalene in ali se je ta podoba prenesla tudi na pisatelje oziroma v njihova literarna dela. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da so imeli interpreti zelo močan vpliv na vse vrste umetnosti, ki so Marijo Magdaleno začele upodabljati kot veliko grešnico. Čeprav se je v 21. stoletju po svetu ta podoba začela spreminjati, pa je na slovenskih tleh še vedno precej ohranjena.

Abstract

This master thesis examines the role of Mary Magdalene in Slovenian literature. The main aim of the thesis was to explore the role of the Bible interpreters on the creation of the image of Mary Magdalene and investigate if these interpretations affected how she is portrayed in the literature. Findings presented in this thesis show that the interpreters of the Bible had a huge influence on different types of arts presenting Mary Magdalene as a great sinner. It is documented that the image of Mary Magdalene as the sinful woman has gradually changed across the world in the 21st Century, but it still persists in Slovenia.
