Die Gründung des Dramatischen Vereins in Ljubljana im Jahr 1867 ist für Slowenen von großer Bedeutung, da sie die erste Theaterorganisation in Slowenien war. Die allgemeine Überzeugung der slowenischen Intellektuellen aus der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts war, dass die Slowenen ein eigenes slowenisches Theater brauchten. Aus diesem Grund wurde das Slowenische Nationaltheater in Ljubljana gegründet. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, die Gründe für die Gründung des Dramatischen Vereins zu untersuchen und die Reaktionen in deutschen und slowenischen Zeitungen zu erforschen. Abstract

Abstract

The establishment of the Drama Society in Ljubljana in 1867 is of great importance for Slovenes, since it was the first theater organization in Slovenia. The universal conviction that was born in the second half of the 19th century among Slovene intellectuals was that Slovenians needed their own Slovenian theatre. For this reason, the Slovene National Theater in Ljubljana was founded. The aim of the diploma is to investigate the reasons for the establishment of the Drama Society and cover the responses in German and Slovenian newspapers
