Radicalization poses a major issue in Europe. Nobody is completely immune. However, youth is extremely more vulnerable. Radicalization can lead to violent extremities or terrorism which is one of today's key security issues. It often results in the loss of lives of innocent people. I will focus primarily on examples of good practices of preventive action in the area of youth radicalization. I will compare good practices (programs) of three countries: Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The main goal will be finding the similarities and differences between the programs. All of these programs are based on the EU Counter-Terrorism Strategy and share a common goal – the fight against radicalization. Denmark and the Netherlands are focused on Islamist radicalism, while Sweden is more focused on right-wing radicalism.
