Soočanje društva Kralji ulice z izzivi odprte scene

Magistrsko delo se osredotoča na pojav odprte scene v Mestni občini Ljubljana in soočanje društva Kralji ulice z njenimi izzivi. V prvem delu so predstavljeni osnovni pojmi in pregled spoznanj iz tujine. V osrednjem delu sem natančneje opisala delovanje društva Kralji ulice. V empiričnem delu sem uporabila kvalitativno raziskovanje v zvezi s ključnim vprašanjem, kako se je društvo Kralji ulice soočalo s pojavom odprte scene v Ljubljani. Sestavila sem intervjuje in analizirala odgovore zaposlenih v društvu Kralji ulice. S terminom odprta scena se od leta 2018 srečujemo tudi v medijih, zato sem v empiričnem delu analizirala članke, ki so se pojavili na to tematiko od leta 2008 do konec leta 2018. Z orisom problema sem opisala delovanje društva, drugih organizacij na področju brezdomstva in odvisnosti od nedovoljenih drog, stroke in drugih akterjev, ki se ukvarjajo z odprto sceno v Mestni občini Ljubljana. Nalogo zaključujem s povzetkom pogledov in razumevanj vseh vključenih v empiričnem delu, in s priporočili za delo z odprto sceno.

• Title: Facing challenges of open drug scene by the Kings of the street society

Abstract

The master’s thesis focuses on the open drug scene in Ljubljana and how the society known as Kralji ulice (in English: Kings of the Street Society) deals with this problem. The first part of the thesis presents some basic concepts and includes an overview of existing research regarding this topic. Furthermore, we describe how the Kings of the Street Society operates in more detail. In the empirical part, we use a qualitative research method to study how the association dealt with the open drug scene that developed in Ljubljana. We conducted interviews and analysed the answers of those employed in the association. Since 2018 the term open drug scene started to appear in the media; therefore, in our research, we focused on articles published between the years 2008 and 2018. By outlining the problem, we presented the operation of associations such as the Kings of the Street Society and other similar associations dealing with homelessness and substance abuse as well as other important actors tackling this issue in Ljubljana. In our conclusion, we present the points of view of those involved in our research and provide some suggestions on how to deal with the open drug scene in the future.
