Abstract
V prvem delu magistrskega dela predstavim nekaj osnovnih topologij stikalnih napetostnih regulatorjev in za njih zapišem enačbe, ki so pomembne za njihovo delovanje in zmogljivost. Podrobneje predstavim topologiji Ćuk in SEPIC, za kateri zasnujem električno shemo, pri kateri se omejim na enakost komponent v vezju. Temu simuliram izkoristek, šum in tranzientni odziv ter primerjam omenjeni topologiji. Obe vezji nato tudi izdelam in na njiju izvedem meritve izkoristka, šuma in tranzientnega odziva. Na koncu izvedem primerjalno analizo izdelanih vezij, primerjam izmerjene in simulacijske rezultate, in ugotovim prednost Ćuk napetostnega regulatorja na področju izkoristka in šuma, in prednost SEPIC regulatorja pri tranzientnem odzivu in odvajanju toplote.

Title:Comparative analysis of switching voltage regulators SEPIC and Cuk
Abstract:
In first part I introduce few base switching regulator topologies and write for them equations that are important for their performance. More in detail I introduce Ćuk and SEPIC topologies and draw schematic circuits for them. I then simulate those circuits and compare efficiency, noise and transient response for them. I also make this circuit in real practice and perform mentioned measurements. Then I compare simulated and measured values and find out advantages of Ćuk regulator in efficiency and noise levels, and advantages of SEPIC regulator in transient response and thermal management.
