Abstract
Komuniciranje in poznavanje tuje kulture je v sodobnem času zelo pomembno. Vendar za komuniciranje ni dovolj le verbalna komunikacija. Poznati je treba tudi neverbalno komunikacijo, saj lahko še bolj vpliva na dosego pozitivnega rezultata pri komuniciranju. Ljudje morajo poznati različne kulture komuniciranja, in sicer predvsem kadar zapustijo državo, oziroma če imajo namen živeti v tuji državi, saj se srečajo z drugačnimi običaji, navadami in kulturami. Namen diplomskega dela je bil proučiti in predstaviti, kako ljudje poznajo kulturo komuniciranja v izbranih državah in kako močno so ljudje doživljali kulturni šok ob izselitvi iz matične domovine. Raziskava je bila izvedena z metodo anketiranja. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da večina sodelujočih dobro pozna kulturo komuniciranja v izbranih državah. Poznajo veliko drugih običajev in navad ter načinov komuniciranja. Ugotovljeno je torej, da ljudje dobro poznajo kulturo komuniciranja in se pred odhodom v tujo državo pozanimajo o tamkajšnjih običajih in navadah. Rezultati raziskave o kulturnem šoku so pokazali, da je večina sodelujočih občutila kulturni šok v državi, v katero so se preselili. V povprečju so ženske bolj občutile kulturni šok kot moški. Priporoča se, da ljudje še več pozornosti namenijo poznavanju tako verbalne kot neverbalne komunikacije in da se na odhod iz države primerno pripravijo. Prebrati je treba knjige o primernem vedenju, običajih, navadah in kulturah v različnih državah ali se udeležiti izobraževanj, povezanih s to tematiko. Za ljudi, ki imajo namen ostati v državi, je priporočljivo, da se okolju čim bolj prilagodijo, si najdejo prijatelje in se prilagodijo življenju v novem okolju.

Title:ANALYSIS OF CULTURE CHOCK AND KNOWLEDGE CULTURE COMMUNICATION IN SELECTED COUNTRIES
Abstract:
Communication and knowledge of foreign culture have a crucial role in modern age. However, verbal communication alone is not sufficient for communication Knowledge of non-verbal communication is also required since it may have an even more significant impact on achieving a positive outcome in communicaion. People should learn about different cultures of communication, especially when leaving their country, or intending to live in a foreign country where they are expected to encounter different customs, traditions and cultures. The purpose of graduation thesis is to research and present how familiar people are with culture of communication in selected countries, and how strongly they experienced culture shock after emigration from their native land. The survey has been conducted by means of interviewing method. The survey results indicate that most of participants are well acquainted with cultures of communication in selected countries. They know man other customs, conventions and types of communication. It is therefore concluded that people are well acquainted with communication culture, and that, before leaving to foreign country, they learn about their traditions and customs. The survey results on culture shock results have shown that most of the participants experienced the culture shock in the county they have moved to. On average, the culture shock has affected more women than men. It is recommended that people pay even closer attention to learning both verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as to prepare appropriately for leaving their country. That means to read different books on appropriate behavior, traditions, customs and cultures in different countries, or to participate in certain trainings related to this topic. For those who intend to stay in the country, it is recommended to adapt to the new environment as much as possible, to find new friends and to adapt the life in new environment.
