Today's turbulent environment has affected farmers who are given an opportunity to increase total revenues with direct sales from milk machines and similar vending machines for selling perishable farm and milk products. Milk vending machines allow following consumers' preferences, i.e. for high-quality raw or hay milk. Since milk vending machines are fashionable, we start our diploma by depicting their structure, their elements and possible modular upgrades. Additionally, we have been focusing on vending machines for perishable dairy and farm products. We have conducted an evaluation of milk vending machines, calculations regarding return on investment, and we advise future investors by devising a SWOT (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities and Threats) analysis. In the research part of our paper we conducted semi-structured interviews from which insights on the decision-making process for investing in milk vending machines can be derived. In the results, discussion and conclusion sections we present key findings and summarize new discoveries with implications for potential investors in milk and other vending machines.
