This master's thesis focuses on the future of Master’s level translation programmes, i.e. the future challenges they are facing, and on the search for concrete solutions. In the introduction, I try to identify these challenges with the help of existing surveys and analyses, and in the first segment of the analytical part, I analyse the study programmes from the European Master’s in Translation network, focusing on any possible adjustments to future challenges within the curriculum. The second segment of the analytical work is aimed at analysing the study programmes of digital humanities, where the goal is to determine whether digital humanities offer solutions that can be used to upgrade translation programs and bring them into the future.
