Abstract

Title:Topography of sliding surfaces for the shaft
Abstract:
Lead on the sealing surface can be problematic as it can cause loss of lubricant in the system. In this paper, we are searching for the process that does not produce lead. We performed tests with the so-called thread method and scanned the surface using the 3D measuring microscope from Alicona. After performing the test using the thread method, we determined that the only process that did not produce lead was done using the circumferential turn-milling.
