Abstract
V diplomski nalogi opisujem prilagajanje SCADA/HMI sistemov za podporo industrijskemu procesu v jeklarski industriji. Izdelal sem vmesnik, ki nudi operaterjem vpogled in možnost upravljanja posameznih strojev ali pa celotnega procesa. Za izdelavo sem uporabil Siemensov produkt WinCC 7.3, ki sem ga tudi uporabil pri predstavljenem projektu. Podrobneje bom opisal najpomembnejša orodja WinCC-ja, potrebna za uspešno rabo tega razvojnega programa. Sam vmesnik je izdelan po določenih internih standardih in zahtevah. Za izdelani vmesnik sem analiziral uporabniško izkušnjo. Analiza je pokazala, da je vmesnik vseboval pomanjkljivosti, ki sem jih s pomočjo povratne informacije uporabnikov po najboljših močeh izboljšal. Gre se za izboljšavo na področju navigacije, sledenju materiala in lažjo uporabo samega vmesnika.

Title:Making a SCADA human machine interface for industrial process supervision
Abstract:
In the thesis I am describing the adaptation of SCADA / HMI systems for support of the industrial process in the steel industry. I've created an interface that gives operators insight and the ability to manage individual machines or the entire process. For development, I used the Siemens product WinCC 7.3, which I also used for the presented project. I will describe in detail the most important WinCC tools needed for the successful use of this software. The interface itself is developed according to certain internal standards and requirements. For the designed interface, I analyzed the user`s experience. The analysis showed that the interface contained imperfections that I improved with help of user`s feedback and my best abilities. It is an improvement in navigation, material tracking and easier use of the interface itself.
