Abstract
So podlaga, na katerih so zgrajeni vsi odnosi in svet okoli nas. Zmožnost prepoznavanja čustev omogoča lažje razumevanje okolice in sporazumevanje z njo. Serija tekstilnih slik predstavlja moj iztis čustev in občutij skozi tekstil, barvo in vzorec. Tekstilne slike so likovna upodobitev mojih čustev in so produkt večmesečnega raziskovanja emocij.

Title:
Seven emotions through textile
Abstract:
Bachelor`s thesis is based on the research of seven basic emotions and their recognition on human`s face. The research was carried out by an American psychologist Paul Ekman. Emotions are mental processes, awakened in human in early childhood. They are the foundation for all the relationships we build and the world which surrounds us. The ability of recognizing emotions allows us a deeper understanding of our environment and better communication with latter. Sadness, anger, surprise, fear, disgust, contempt and happiness are the seven basic emotions, which are universal in its physical expressing on human face, regardless of race, culture or upbringing. The final result of this thesis is a series of textile paintings, divided into five parts: happiness, anger, fear and surprise, sadness and disgust and contempt. The series is a representation of my expressed emotions and feelings through textile, colour and pattern. Pigments and paste for screen printing were used for creating textile paintings. I was adding colors on white textile according to momentary inspiration while wishing to interpret certain emotion. I became absorbed in communicativeness of colors and their influence on a person. Textile paintings are an art depiction of my emotions and a product of several months` exploration of the latter.
