Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje nadgradnjo obstoječega merilnega mesta za preizkušanje komponent električnih pogonov z novim instrumentom N4L PPA5530, izvedbo prilagojenih programov za nov instrument v programskem okolju LabVIEW in analizo primerjalnih meritev napetosti, tokov in moči med novim instrumentom in predhodno uporabljenim LEM NORMA D6000. V prvem delu so opisani vsi gradniki, ki smo jih uporabili pri nadgradnji. Glavni med njimi so analizatorja moči PPA5530 in NORMA D6000, računalniška kartica NI PCI-6251 in vhodno-izhodni vmesnik SCB-68. Vključen je tudi osnovni opis delovanja preizkuševališča. V nadaljevanju diplomsko delo opisuje programe, ki so bili razviti in dodani obstoječemu programu, ki je vodil delovanje preizkuševališča. Treba je bilo razviti programsko kodo, ki omogoča komunikacijo programskega okolja LabVIEW (nameščeno na osebnem računalniku) z novim instrumentom PPA5530 preko treh različnih komunikacijskih vodil: GPIB, USB in ETHERNET vodila. Poleg tega je bil razvit tudi dodaten program, ki omogoča izvajanje primerjalnih meritev med novim instrumentom PPA5530 ter njegovim predhodnikom NORMA D6000. Opisan je tudi program, ki generira testne PWM napetostne signale, ki so bili uporabljeni za primerjavo in verifikacijo delovanja prenovljenega merilnega mesta glede na predhodno verzijo. V zaključnem delu diplomskega dela so prikazani rezultati primerjalnih meritev ter podani komentarji.

Title:Upgrade of an automated test bench for components of electrical drives
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with upgrading of the existing automated test bench with a new power analyzer PPA5530. The adjustment of programs in LabVIEW software environment is described and the measurements are presented. In the first part of the thesis all the components which were used for upgrading are described, the main components being the PPA5530 and NORMA D6000 power analyzers, the NI PCI-6251 board and the SCB-68 I/O connector block. There are also some information on how the automated test bench works. Further on, the programs that were developed and added into the existing software of the test bench are described. It was necessary to develop a software which enabled the communication of LabVIEW software environment (installed on a personal computer) with the new PPA5530 instrument through three different communication protocols – GPIB, USB and ETHERNET. In addition, another software was developed – this software enables to carry out comparative measurements between the new PPA5530 instrument and its predecessor NORMA D6000. A software that generates test PWM voltage signals, which were used for comparing the mentioned systems, is also described. In the final part of the thesis the results of comparative measurements are shown and commented.
