It is known, that young adults enter into the labour market after finishing secondary education; more specifically after the age of 20 or after finishing higher degree. Employment gives them independence and new experiences.
Bachelor work is specified in population aged between 18 and 35 old. During these ages some individuals had successfully finished studying and got employed, while others are still actively searching for their first job. It is not clearly known, how previous experiences obtained within internships or how student work are compiled, which aspects job seekers find important when searching for first job, and what does have the biggest impact on the occupation itself.
Consequently, survey with 68 examinees was made. It was found that companies search for experienced individuals regardless to previous job type and education level. Young adults find LinkedIn portal as the most suitable for searching new jobs. Survey also showed that job seekers are not familiar with Employment Service in Slovenia.
